Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Produktu iepakojuma dizaina nozīme zīmola komunikācijā: zīmolu „Madara cosmetics” un „Bio2you” piemēri. Darbs sastāvs no trīs daļām – teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās un empīriskās.
Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīts zīmola jēdziens un funkcijas, zīmola identitāte, zīmola komunikācija, produktu iepakojuma nozīme, funkcijas un iedalījums, iepakojuma dizaina nozīme zīmola komunikācijā, kā arī zaļo patērētāju vērtību pozicionēšana un videi draudzīgs iepakojums.
Bakalaura darba teorētisko bāzi veido dažādu teorētiķu (Deivida Akera (David Aaker), Žana Noela Kapferera (J. N. Kapferer), Filipa Kotlera (Philip Kotler), Alīnas Vīleres (A.Wheeler), Vollija Olinsa un citu zīmolvedības ekspertu atziņas.
Darba metodoloģiskajā daļā tiek aprakstītas pētījumā izmantotās kvalitatīvās metodes un to izmantošanas pamatojums: daļēji strukturētā intervija un fokusa grupas diskusija.
Darba praktiskajā daļā tiek apkopoti un analizēti pētījuma rezultāti.
Pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt, cik liela nozīme produktu iepakojuma dizainam ir zīmola komunikācijā un kāda ir patērētāju attieksme pret zīmolu „Madara cosmetics” un „Bio2you” produktu iepakojuma dizainu.
Darba pētnieciskā problēma: produktu iepakojuma dizains spēj ietekmēt patērētāja izvēli pirkuma veikšanā.
Darba pētnieciskais jautājums: vai patērētājs ir gatavs maksāt vairāk par kreatīvu produkta iepakojumu?
Darba pētījuma objekts: zīmolu „Madara cosmetics” un „Bio2you” produktu iepakojuma dizains.
Pēc pētījumā gūtajiem rezultātiem, var secināt, ka lielākā daļa patērētāju ir gatavi maksāt vairāk par kreatīvu iepakojuma dizainu un tas noteikti veicina preču pārdošanu.

The title of the bachelor paper is „The meaning of product packing design in brand communication: examples of "Madara Cosmetics" and "Bio2you brands". The work consists of three parts - theoretical, methodological and empirical part.
The first part of the research paper includes the information of brand concept and functions, brand identity, brand communication, the functions of product packaging, the meaning of product packing in brand communication, green consumer positioning of values and eco friendly packaging.
The theoretical part of the research paper is made by cognitions of different authors, such as D. Aaker, J. N. Kapferer, P. Kotler, A. Wheeler, V. Olinss and other experts of marketing and branding.
The second part of the paper treats the qualitative methodology used in the research:
the semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions and case study method.
In the third and empirical part of the bachelor paper represents generalization and
analysis of the data acquired in the research.
The objective of the research is to find out the meaning of product packaging design in brand communication and make out the attitude of consumer about Madara cosmetics and Bio2you brand product packaging design.
The problem of research: product packaging design can influence the choice of consumer in making the purchase.
The question of research: Will consumer pay more about creative packaging design?
The object of the research: product packaging design of Madara cosmetics and Bio2you brands.
