Domu kartes kā informācijas un zināšanu organizēšanas rīks un to pielietošana digitālajā vidē

Abstract

Domu kartes ir tīklveida diagrammas, kurās uzglabā, sakārto un prioritāšu secībā saliek informāciju, izmantojot atslēgvārdus, simbolus un attēlus. Mūsdienās ir pieejams liels tīmekļa lietotņu skaits domu karšu veidošanai, kuru vidū populārākās ir MindMeister.com, Mindomo.com un Mind42.com. Pētījuma problēma ir fakts, ka pašlaik nav pieejama pietiekami precīza un pilnīga informācija par šo rīku funkcionalitāti un izmantošanu. Pētījuma mērķis ir novērtēt populārāko domu karšu izstrādei paredzēto tīmekļa lietotņu funkcionalitāti, kā arī izanalizēt šo rīku izmantošanas paradumus. Pētījuma gaitā tika noskaidrots, ka: 1) tīmekļu lietotņu funkcionalitāte atbilst domu kartēšanas metodikas prasībām; 2) lietotāju domu karšu kvalitāte ir viduvēja; 3) liels domu karšu skaits ir veltīts tādiem tematiem kā IKT, menedžments un kultūra.

Mind maps are a graphic, networked method of storing, organizing and prioritizing information using key words, symbols and images. Nowadays there is a large number of software available for mind mapping. The most popular web-based mind mapping applications are MindMeister.com, Mindomo.com and Mind42.com. The main problem of the research is a lack of accurate and complete data about functionality and usage of these applications. The aim of this paper is to estimate the functionality of the most popular mind mapping applications and to analyze usage habits of their users. In the process of the study there was detected that 1) the functionality of applications corresponds to mind mapping methodology; 2) the quality of users' mind maps is satisfactory; 3) the is a large number of mind maps on such subjects as ICT, management and culture.
