Mūsdienās, strauji attīstoties datoru tīklu izmēriem, rodas nepieciešamība pēc sistēmām, kuras ļautu administratoriem ērti pārraudzīt un pārvaldīt lielu skaitu klientu datoru. Šajā darbā autors ir apskatījis esošos risinājumus, izpētījis to trūkumus un realizējis savdabīgu sistēmu, kuras darbības principi līdzinās tik ļoti pazīstamajiem botu tīkliem.
Radītais produkts atbilst autora uzstādītajam mērķim - izstrādāt viegli uzstādāmu atvērtā koda pārraudzības un pārvaldības sistēmu lielam klientu skaitam, ar iespēju dinamiski mainīt pārraudzības metrikas. Šī mērķa izpildīšana ļāvusi novērst esošo risinājumu trūkumus, kuri vispārīgi apskatīti darba ievadā.
Darbs sastāv no ievada, esošo risinājumu apskatīšanas, sistēmas plānošanas, izvēlēto tehnoloģiju apraksta, iespējamajiem riskiem, sistēmas potenciālajiem uzlabojumiem un secinājumiem. The subject of present project is “Management and monitoring system based on universal remote agents”.
Nowadays, when computer networks are constantly increasing in size, the need for systems that allow administrators to manage and monitor a large number of client computers is increasing as well. In this project the author has reviewed the existing solutions and their flaws and created an original system, which is based on the principles of the well-known botnets.
The created product corresponds with the goal of the author – to create an open source monitoring and management system for a large number of users which is easy to set up and supports dynamic change of monitoring metrics. The success in achieving this goal results in the elimination of flaws that were present in the present solutions examined in the beginning of the thesis.
The project consists of an introduction, examination of existing solutions, planning of the system, description of selected technologies, possible hazards, potential improvements of the system and conclusions.
