| dc.description.abstract | Darbā apskatītas tīmekļa pārlūkprogrammu funkcionalitātes paplašināšanas saskarnes un izmantotas tehnoloģijas. Aplūkotas iespējas izstrādāt pārlūkprogrammu funkcionalitātes paplašinājumus populārākām pārlūkprogrammām, Firefox 3.6/4, Google Chrome 10, Internet Explorer 8/9, Opera 11, Safari 5. Tiek sniegts ieskats tehnoloģijas, ar kurām ir jāsaskaras, izstrādājot paplašinājumus un ar praktiskiem piemēriem tiek nodemonstrēta to izmantošanas iespējas. Tiek salīdzinātas populārākās paplašinājumu izstrādes tehnoloģijas un pārlūkprogrammu piedāvātās iespējas paplašinājumu izstrādei. Darba izstrādes laikā apgūstot teoriju un pielietojot to praktiskos eksperimentos autors ir nonācis pie vairākām atziņām un secinājumiem, no kurām svarīgākais ir tas, ka neviena no pārlūkprogrammā nepiedāvā ideālu risinājumu kuru varētu izmantot visi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This work contains description of program interfaces and technologies used for extending the functionality of the web browsers. The possibilities of browser functionality extension for the most popular browsers, Firefox 3.6/4, Google Chrome 10, Internet Explorer 8/9, Opera 11 and Safari 5 are viewed in this work. Author provides an insight into technologies that are faced by developing extensions gives practical use examples of these technologies. This work serves comparison and analysis of the most popular technologies and the opportunities offered for development of the browser extensions. By studying theory and performing practical experiments author has arrived at several conclusions. The most important conclusion might be that none of the browser can offer an ideal solution which can be used by all other browser. | en_US |
