Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir „Augstskolu bibliotekāru profesionālās kompetences”. Maģistra darba uzdevums ir Latvijas augstskolu bibliotēkas darbinieku profesionālās kompetences izvērtēšana un noteikšana. Darba mērķis ir veicināt bibliotekāra profesionālo kompetenču pilnveidi un profesionālās karjeras izaugsmes iespējas. Maģistra darbā pētīta kompetences jēdziena būtība un analizēti galvenie kompetenču noteikšanas veidi. Analizētas augstskolu bibliotekāriem nepieciešamās kompetences balstoties uz darba amata aprakstiem. Praktiskais pētījums veikts izmantojot vērtēšanas testu metodi. Apkopoti un analizēti iegūtie dati. Piedāvāti priekšlikumi kompetenču novērtēšanā un izvirzīti secinājumi darbinieku kompetenču attīstīšanā. Master's thesis title is "University librarians 'professional competence”. Master's work the analysis of the Latvian University library staff of professional competence in the evaluation and determination. The aim is to promote the professional librarian competency development and career growth opportunities. Master's thesis studied the essence of the notion of competence and analyzes the main ways of identifying competencies. Analyzed university librarians necessary competencies based on job descriptions. Practical evaluation study was conducted using the test method. Collected and analyzed the data obtained.
