Valsts vides aizsardzības institūciju attīstība Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Valsts vides aizsardzības institūciju attīstība Latvijā” pētnieciskā problēma saistīta ar vides politikas un pārvaldības prakses trūkumu valsts vides aizsardzības institūcijās. Pētījums īstenots, izmantojot literatūras analīzi un socioloģiskā pētījuma metodes – intervēšanu, ekspertanketēšanu un gadījuma situācijas izpēti. Apzinoties, ka katrā vides pārvaldības līmenī ir sava darba specifika un katram līmenim ir noteikta loma vides aizsardzībā, pētījums veikts divos pārvaldības līmeņos – nacionālā un reģionālā. Rezultātā ir izstrādāts Valsts vides aizsardzības institūciju attīstības modelis Latvijā, kuru iespējams izmantot to darbības turpmākai attīstībai. Darbā ir 6 nodaļas, kas ietver 154 lapaspuses. The research questions within the Master’s Thesis „Development of State Environmental Protection Institutions in Latvia” is linked to the lack of environmental policy and practice of environmental governance in the state environmental institutions of Latvia. The research has been carried out by applying the literature analysis as well as sociological research methods – interviews, expert survey and a case study research. Considering the different work methods at each of the governance levels and their responsibilities, the research has been carried out in two governance levels – at the national and the regional levels. As a result of the research the authors of the Paper have developed a model for the state environmental institution development. The outcome of the research can be applied within the work of further development of state environmental protection institutions. There are 6 chapters and 154 pages within this Paper.
