Nodokļu sistēma ir pamats jebkuras valsts veiksmīgai pastāvēšanai, taču nodokļu nemaksāšana ir radījusi ēnu ekonomikas attīstību. Diplomdarba tēma ir „Latvijas nodokļu sistēma un tās ietekme uz ēnu ekonomiku”.
Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas nodokļu sistēmu, tās klasifikāciju un raksturojumu, kā arī ēnu ekonomikas ietekmi uz iekasēto nodokļu apjomu, lai varētu dot priekšlikumus ēnu ekonomikas samazināšanai un valsts nodokļu sistēmas uzlabošanai, kas varētu sekmēt ekonomikas attīstību līdzvērtīgu Eiropas Savienības finansiālajam stāvoklim, kā arī uzlabot Latvijas iedzīvotāju dzīves līmeni.
Pētījumu veido trīs daļas. Pirmā nodaļa raksturo nodokļu sistēmas būtību, klasifikāciju un tās lomu valsts budžetā. Otrajā nodaļā autors sīkāk izpētīja tiešos un netiešos nodokļus. Trešajā nodaļā tiek apskatīts ēnu ekonomikas raksturojums un veikta aptauja. Darba nobeigumā autors atspoguļo darba gaitā veiktos secinājumus un sniegtos priekšlikumus. The taxation system is the basis for the successful existence of the country but evasion of taxes has led development of the shadow economy. The topic of the diploma paper is “The Taxation System of Latvia and Its Impact on the Shadow Economy”.
The object of the diploma paper is to explore the taxation system of Latvia, its classification and characterizations as well as shadow economy impact on collection of taxes, to give suggestions for reducing the shadow economy and for improvement of the national taxation system which could contribute the economic growth till financial level of European Union and improve living standards of people in Latvia.
The research consists of three chapters. The first chapter characterizes the nature of the taxation system, classification and its role in to the national budget. In the second chapter author further investigates direct and indirect taxes. In the third chapter there are viewed characterizations of the shadow economy and performed a survey.
