Abstract

Šis petijums apskata pašreizejo situaciju arzonas pakalpojumu piedavajuma joma Latvija, Lietuva un Igaunija. Tas apraksta spekus, kas mudina uznemumus parvietot biznesa procesus uz šim valstim, pasvitro galvenas priekšrocibas un škeršlus un piedava ieteikumus, ka padarit Baltijas valstis pievilcigakas investoriem arzonas centros. 15 intervijas ar arzonas centru vaditajiem un ekspertiem atklaj, ka Baltijas valstu lielakas priekšrocibas ir zemas izmaksas, tuvums Rietumeiropai un augsta darbaspeka kvalitate, bet lielakie traucejumi ir darbinieku trukums un atrs algu pieaugums. Baltijas valstu potencials tiek ilustrets uz tris veiksmigu uznemumu, kas darbojas IT pakalpojumu, klientu kontakta un gramatvedibas jomas, piemera.

This report examines the current state of offshoring in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. It describes the forces driving companies to offshore to these countries, highlights the major benefits and obstacles, and offers recommendations on how to make the Baltic States more attractive for offshoring. 15 interviews with managers of remote centres and experts reveal that the main advantages of the Baltic States are low costs, proximity to Western Europe and high quality of labour, whereas the main disadvantages are shortage of employees and fast salary growth. The potential of the Baltic States is illustrated by three successful cases of offshoring IT services, customer contact and accounting.
