Iedzīvotāju mobilitāte un migrācija Baltinavas novadā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ‘’Iedzīvotāju mobilitāte un migrācija Baltinavas novadā’’ mērķis ir raksturot migrācijas un mobilitātes procesus Baltinavas novadā. Darbs ir strukturēts divās daļās – Baltinavas novada iedzīvotāju mobilitātes, migrācijas pētniecība un teorētiskās studijas. Baltinavas novada iedzīvotāju mobilitāte ir pētīta ikdienas un starpvalstu aspektā. Nepieciešamie dati iegūti, veicot Baltinavas novada iedzīvotāju anketēšanu un intervēšanu. Darbā raksturota arī novada saimnieciskā un sociālā struktūra, bezdarbs, iedzīvotāju skaits un tā izmaiņas novadā. Pētījuma rezultātā tika iegūta kopējā aina par Baltinavas iedzīvotāju mobilitātes tendencēm, dzīvesvietas maiņas motīviem: iedzīvotāji uz ārvalstīm dodas darba dēļ un lielākā daļa tuvākajā laikā neplāno atgriezties Latvijā, savukārt iekšzemes migrācijas rezultātā dzīvesvieta mainīta galvenokārt ģimenes apstākļu un darba dēļ, lielākoties tā mainīta līdz 1991. gadam. The goal of the bachelor thesis ''Population mobility and migration in Baltinavas novads'' is to investigate and characterize the processes of migration and mobility in Baltinavas novads. The work has been structured in two parts – the empirical part includes research of the population and mobility, as well as migration in Baltinavas novads; the second part is the theoretical studies. The population and mobility of Baltinavas novads has been investigated daily and from the cross-border point of view. The necessary data is collected from questionnaires and interviews of Baltinava’s residents. The paper also describes the economic and social structure, unemployment, population changes of the region. The study led to a common outlook of the mobility trends of Baltinava’s residents and the change of place of residence motives: people go abroad for work and majority do not plan to return to Latvia soon, while the internal migrats have moved mostly for family and work reason.
