Kuldīgas struktūras uzbūves rekonstrukcija pēc seismiskās izpētes datiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ir veikta Kuldīgas struktūras un tai piekļautā lūzuma uzbūves izpēte un tās iespējamās ģenēzes noskaidrošana, aplūkojot to kontekstā ar tuvējiem Kaledonijas struktūrkompleksa elementiem. Bakalaura darbs ir balstīts uz seismisko griezumu analīzi. Lai sekmīgi veiktu struktūrelementu mērīšanu un aprakstīšanu, seismiskās izpētes dati tika apvienoti ar dziļurbumu datiem, tādējādi sniedzot iespēju izveidot ģeoloģiskos griezumus un vadoties pēc tiem arī struktūras 3D modeli, kas ilustrē un palīdz izprast struktūras un lūzuma uzbūvi. Iegūtie šķērsgriezumi un 3D modelis ļauj novērtēt aptuvenos deformācijas apjomus un spriest par galveno deformējošo spriegumu vērsumu.

The main focus of the thesis is to study the Kuldiga structure and the adjacent fault zone to determine its origin and structure, while also taking into consideration the nearby structural elements which were also genarated at the time of Caledonian orogeny. Since the Kuldiga structure itself is located deep under ground seismic survey data were combined with borehole data to produce liable geologic cross-sections. The cross-sections were then used to aquire spatial data of the different sub-surfaces. These were combined with the borehole data to make a 3D model of the structure. The 3D model, along with the cross-sections provided the means to describe the structural elements that make up Kuldiga structure.
