| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbā pētīti Timbas ezera nogulumi, veicot nogulumu zondēšanu, urbšanu, iegūtos ezera nogulumu paraugus analizējot ar sporu-putekšņu analīzi, lai noskaidrotu nogulumu paleobotānisko sastāvu.
Sporu-putekšņu analīzes rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka Timbas ezera pētītie nogulumi uzkrājušies kopš leduslaikmeta beigu posma, kad ezera apkārtnē valdīja subarktiski apstākļi, vēl nebija mežu, cauri klimatiskajam optimumam, kad veģetācijā dominēja platlapji, un holocēna beigu posmam līdz mūsdienām, kad mežu sastāvā palielinājās skujkoku īpatsvars.
Bakalaura darbs ietver 56 lapaspuses, ievadu, 4 nodaļas, secinājumus, literatūras sarakstu, 14 attēlus, 3 tabulas un pielikumu.

| dc.description.abstract | Timba Lake sediments have been investigated in the frame of Bachelor Work by sediment corings, sampling and spore-pollen analysis with aim to find out palaeobotanical composition of sediments.
The results of the spore-pollen analysis allow to conclude that investigated Timba Lake sediments have been accumulated since the ending part of the Late Glacial, when due to subarctic conditions open landscape were in surrounding of lake, through the climatic optimum, when broadleaved trees prevailed in the vegetation composition, the late Holocene until nowadays when number of coniferous increase in forest composition.
Bachelor Thesis includes 56 pages, introduction, 4 chapters, conclusion, list of references, 14 figures, 3 tables and appendix.
