The paper also touched upon the eurojargon problem in interpreting. A survey was carried out and 10 European Parliament debate speech text interpretations were analysed on syntactic level to find out the most pressing errors committed by the interpreters and to discuss possible solutions of avoiding them.
The author discovered that ommissions and distortions of the source text that can be considered to be serious errors
