Rokmūziķa identitāte Latvijā: vērtības un ikdiena

Abstract

Rokmūziķis sabiedrībā tiek uztverts ar lielu piesardzību, jo ir uzskats, ka šie cilvēki, kas nodarbojas ar rokmūziku ir izklaidīgi, neizglītoti un vulgāri. Lai gan rokmūzika mūsdienās ir kļuvusi par vienu no aktuālākajiem mūzikas stiliem, dažādu mūzikas stilu pārstāvji sabiedrībā tiek uztverti ļoti atšķirīgi - sākot ar cildināšanu un apbrīnu un beidzot ar kāda mūzikas stila vispārēju noraidīšanu. Prasti sabiedrība rokmūziķus vērtē pēc kādas ikonas vai konkrēta gadījuma, kas asociējas ar kādu skandālu. Latvijā situācija atšķiras no rietumu pasaules ar to, ka rokmūzika nepastāv kā profesija, bet tas ir dzīvesveids. Bakalaura darbā izvēlējos veikt kvalitatīvo pētījumu, jo kursa darbā izmantoju kvantitatīvo. Kursa darbs man sniedza sabiedrības viedokli par rokmūziku un rokmūziķiem. Turpinot kursa darbu tēmu bakalaura darbā izvēlējos kvalitatīvo pētījumu, tas man palīdzēja noskaidrot, ko domā Latvijas rokmūziķi par savu nodarbošanos un kādas vērtības ir rokmūziķiem šodien salīdzinot ar agrākajām. Manā darbā bija svarīgi piekļūt rokmūziķa personīgajam domu gājienam un filozofijai, ko nevar panākt ar kvantitatīvo pētījumu metodi. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka rokmūziķi savu nodarbošanos uztver kā dzīvesveidu nevis kā profesiju. Mūziķi uzskata, ka tā var būt profesija, bet tikai rietumos, kas sakrīt ar kursa darba pētījuma apkopotajiem datiem: 70% aptaujāto LU SZF respondentu uzskata, ka rokmūziķis var būt profesija, bet tikai rietumos. Paši mūziķi atzīst, ka rokmūziķiem piemīt izklaidīgs un bohēmisks dzīvesveids. Tomēr visu laiku nepastāv tikai izklaides, rokmūziķim ir arī jāpelna nauda. Pēc pētījuma iegūtajiem datiem, varu secināt, ka rokmūzika ir viena no lielākajām subkultūrām ar bagātu vēsturi. Rokmūzikas vērtības mūsdienās ir mainījušas. Protests ir kļuvis daudz klusāks nekā Padomju Savienības laikos. Rokmūzika ir kļuvusi par pašizpausmes veidu jauniešiem, kas nodarbojas ar rokmūziku, lai kļūtu sabiedrībā redzami un populāri, bet konkrēts un noteikts vēstījums ir reti kuram jaunajam mūziķim. Rokmūzika katram mūziķim ir kaut kas dziļi intīms un personīgs un nepastāv noteikta definīcija, kas ir rokmūzika.

Rock community is perceived with great caution, since it is believed that these people who are dealing with a rock is distracted lack and vulgar. Although the Rock has now become one of the most common musical styles, different styles of music in society representatives are perceived very differently. Starting with the celebration and admiration, and finally to a general rejection of some musical style. The company is valued at the rock of a certain icon or casual, which is associated with a scandal. In Latvia the situation is different from the western world to the fact that Rock is not a profession, it is a way of life. In bachelor's work I chose to make qualitative research, course work I used quantitative. Continuing coursework topic of bachelor chose qualitative research because it helped me to clarify, what do musicians think of Latvian Rock on their occupation and what is the value of rock today and what they were before. In my work it was important to access the rock grains and the idea of personal philosophy, which can not be achieved through a quantitative research method. The research results show that rock is more as a lifestyle rather than perceived as a profession. Musicians believes that business can be, but only in the west, which coincides with the course of the research data collected in 70% of respondents LU SZF think that rock can be a profession, but only in the west. Musicians admits that the rockmusicians have preoccupied and bohemian lifestyle. Not all time Rock exists only for entertainment, Rockmusicians also has to earn money. After the study findings, I conclude that the Rock is one of the largest subcultures, with a rich history. Rock values of today have changed. Protest has become much more silent than in Soviet times. Rock has become a type of self-expression for young people, dealing with the rock in order to become visible and popular in society, but a specific and defined message which is rarely the new musician. Rock is something deeply intimate for each musician and personal definition of what is rock - there is not.
