Abstract

Šī darba tēma ir inteliģences radītie diskursi laikrakstā “Literatūra un Māksla” publicētājos komentāros no 1986.līdz 1989.gadam. Tie tiek analizēti, balstoties uz konteksta zināšanām un ar integrētas kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo metožu kombinācijas palīdzību, atklājot nozīmīgāko problemātiku, vainīgo un cietušo identifikācijas, kā arī risinājumus, ko tālaika inteliģence piedāvāja padomju Latvijas publiskajā telpā. Darba rezultāti ļauj novērtēt inteliģences lomu un rīcības prakses 20.gadsimta 80. gadu otrās puses transformācijas procesos publiskajā telpā — dominējošo diskursu maiņā padomju Latvijā, kā arī iezīmē nepieciešamību izvērtēt arī inteliģences atbildību par savu rīcību un tās identitātes transformāciju pēcpadomju periodā. The present study explores discourses of intelligentsia of soviet Latvia in the public sphere of the second half of the 1980s by analyzing opinion articles in newspaper “Literatūra un Māksla” (1986-1989). The anaysis is carried out, using an integrated methodological combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Most important problems, named victims and villains, and solutions, that were offered by intelligentsia in the public sphere are revealed. The results of the investigation allow the role of intelligentisia and its praxis of behaviour to be estimated, according to the context of the transformation processes of the public sphere of the 1980s — change of dominating discourses. The study also outlines a need for evaluating responsibility of intelligentsia and transpormation of its identity in post-soviet period.
