Bibliotēkas loma skolēnu informācijpratības veidošanā

Abstract

Skolēni ir sabiedrības daļa, kas pamazām veidojas par informācijpratīgām personībām. Arī galvenie informācijas tehnoloģiju lietotāji un bibliotēku apmeklētāji ir skolēni, taču tajā pašā laikā skolēni, labi pārzinot datorus, strauji augošajā informācijas plūsmā neprot meklēt, atrast, atlasīt un saglabāt sev nepieciešamo informāciju. Bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīta bibliotēkas loma skolēnu informācijpratības veidošanā, kā arī vai bibliotēkas vide un tēls ietekmē informācijpratības apmācību kvalitāti.

The students are part of the population that is gradually developing into information literacy personalities. The main users of information technologies and library visitors are students, but although the students are familiar with computers, in the rapidly growing flow of information they do not know how to search, find, select and retain the necessary information. Bachelor's paper examines the role of library in the information literacy development as well as if environment of the library or its image affects quality of the information literacy training.
