Abstract

Bakalaura nosaukums ir ”Pāru izvēle slēgt laulību dzimtsarakstu nodaļā vai baznīcā”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kas nosaka pāru izvēli reģistrēt laulību dzimtsarakstu nodaļā vai baznīcā un kā šī izvēle ietekmē pāra uzskatus par laulību un laulību reģistrēšanas vietām. Pētījuma teorētiskā pieeja balstīta uz motivācijas teoriju, racionālās izvēles teoriju un sociālo grupu un kapitāla ietekmi. Pētījuma metodes ir daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar laulātiem pāriem, ekspertu intervijas un dokumentu analīze. Pētījuma rezultāti raksturo pāru izvēli, laulības ietekmējošos apstākļus un noteicošos faktorus, izvēloties laulību reģistrēt dzimtsarakstu nodaļā vai baznīcā. Rezultātos atspoguļota arī pāru attieksme pret laulībām vietā, kuru paši neizvēlējās. Rezultāti parāda , kā atšķiras dažādu pāru viedokļi.

The title of the Bachelor thesis is “Couples choice to contract a marriage into registry office or church”. The aim of the thesis is to explore what determines couples` choice to contract marriage in registry office or in a church and how this choice influences the couple’s opinions on marriage and marriage registration places. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on Motivation Theory, Rational Choice Theory and the impact of social groups and capital. The research methods are semi-structured interviews with married couples, expert interviews and analysis of documents. The results of the research characterize the couples` choice, the conditions that have impact on marriage and the determinant of choosing either to register the marriage in the registry office or in the church. The results also indicate the couples` attitude towards in marriage in a place they did not choose themselves. The results demonstrate how various is the point of view of different couples
