Folksonomijas bibliotēku e-katalogos

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Folksonomijas bibliotēku e-katalogos” mērķis bija izpētīt folksonomiju reālo un iespējamo pielietojumu bibliotēku e-katalogos un to, kā tās varētu izmainīt informācijas meklēšanas ieradumus, katalogu izmantojamību. Kā pētījuma problēma tika apskatīts jautājums, kāpēc folksonomijas netiek ieviestas un kādi ir traucējošie faktori, lai to izdarītu. Pētījuma hipotēze tika pierādīta - izlases veidā izpētot lielāko daļu Ziemeļeiropas un Baltijas valstu universitāšu e-katalogu, tika noskaidrots, ka ir ļoti neliels skaits ar tādiem, kuri piedāvā sabiedriskās atslēgvārdu izveides vai meklēšanas iespējas. Anketēšanas rezultāti apliecināja, ka lietotāju attieksme pret folksonomijām e-katalogos ir pozitīva.

The aim of the Bachelor Thesis is to research the actual and possible use of folksonomies in the e-catalogues of libraries, as well as how the latter could change the information search habits and the availability of catalogues. Such issues as why folksonomies are not being introduced and what are the impeding factors to do it were examined as the problems of the research. The hypothesis of the research paper was proved – after having researched the largest part of university e-catalogues of Northern Europe and the Baltic States by using the method of sampling, it was concluded that the proportion of those, offering the option of public keyword formation or search, is quite little. Apart from this, the results of the questionnaire survey confirm that the attitude of users to folksonomies in e-catalogues is positive.
