Nacionālās identitātes reprezentācija latviešu ēdienu pavārgrāmatās

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Nacionālās identitātes reprezentācijas latviešu ēdienu pavārgrāmatās” pētīts, kas pavārgrāmatās tiek nosaukts par latvisku ēdienu un kādas nacionālās identitātes vērtības tas reprezentē. Darba teorētisko daļu veido nodaļas par nacionālo identitāti, ēdienu kā vienu no nacionālās identitātes konstruētājiem, tiek sniegts ieskats par pavārgrāmatu kā žanru un pavārgrāmatu attīstību Latvijā. Pētījumā izmantotās metodes – kontentanalīze, intervija un diskursa vēsturiskā analīze. Darbā secināts, ka dažādu apstākļu ietekmes rezultātā latvisks ēdiens ir mainīgs, kas attiecīgi maina arī priekšstatu par nacionālo identitāti, tomēr ēdiena vērtība nacionālajā identitāte saglabājas pozitīva. Darba struktūru veido teorētiskā daļa, metodoloģija, empīriskā daļa un secinājumi.

In the Master thesis “Representation of National Identity in Latvian cookbooks” is analyzed how national identity is represented in Latvian cookbooks and which national identity values cookbooks attribute. Theoretical part of the thesis consists of chapters about national identity, food as aspect that constructs identity, also there is given insight into cookbook as a genre and cookbook evolution in Latvia. Methods used in the thesis – content analysis, interview and discourse-historical analysis. Conclusions of the thesis states that Latvian cuisine changes through times, but the attributed value of Latvian cuisine in national identity stays stable – positive. The thesis is structured in four parts – theoretical, methodological, empirical and conclusions.
