Bakalaura darba sākumā tiek izvirzīts izpētes uzdevums - Kādi ir iemesli Pakistānas izvēlei attīstīt kodolieročus? Lai izvirzītais darba uzdevums tiktu veiksmīgi izpētīts, darbā tiek noteikti darba uzdevumi.
Darbā izvirzītā hipotēze: Galvenais iemesls Pakistānas kodolieroču attīstīšanai ir Indijas atturēšana no kodolieroču izmantošanas pret Pakistānu.
Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un empīriskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīti kodolieroči starptautiskās sistēmas kontekstā un iemesli, kāpēc valstis ir izvēlējušās attīstīt kodolieročus. Darba empīriskajā daļā tiek aplūkota Pakistānas kodolieroču attīstīšana, kā arī iemesli, kāpēc Pakistāna ir izvēlējusies tos attīstīt.
Darba beigās tiek analizētā gūtā informācija un izdarīti secinājumi atbilstoši izvirzītajiem uzdevumiem. Balstoties uz izdarītajiem secinājumiem, tiek apstiprināta darbā izvirzītā hipotēze. The topic of the Bachelor’s work is: Pakistan`s nuclear weapons development program year 1970. to 2009.
At the beginning of this work has been made the research task - What are the reasons for the choice to develop nuclear weapons in Pakistan? To put the challenge to be successful in examining the work several tasks has been made out.
Hypothesis of this work: The main reason for Pakistan to develop nuclear weapons is India's deterrence of nuclear use against Pakistan.
Work consists of theoretical and empirical parts. Theoretical part is dealt with nuclear weapons in the context of the international system and the reasons why states have chosen to develop nuclear weapons. Work at issue in the empirical part of Pakistan's nuclear weapons development during 1970. - 2009, and the reasons why Pakistan has chosen to develop.
At the end of the work has been analyzed collected information and conclusions are drawn according to the work tasks. Based on the findings hypothesis of this work has been confirmed.
