Bakalaura darba „Padomju periods Viļķenes pagasta sociālajā atmiņā un muzeja komunikācijā” mērķis ir: noskaidrot Viļķenes pagasta iedzīvotāju sociālo atmiņu par padomju laika posmu (1945–1991), izmantojot skolas muzeja materiālus – ekspozīciju, sociālās atmiņas avotus, komunikāciju ar sabiedrību un pagasta iedzīvotāju anketēšanas rezultātus.
Pētījums balstās uz Morisa Halbvaksa (Halbvakss) pamatatziņu par individuālās atmiņas iekļaušanos sociālajā ietvarā un kolektīvās atmiņas veidošanos, pamatots ar sociālās atmiņas teorētiķu un pētnieku atziņām un secinājumiem. Izmantoti jaunākie sociālās atmiņas pētījumi Latvijas Universitātes Sociālo zinātņu fakultātes Sociālo un politisko pētījumu institūta programmā „Nacionālā identitāte, mobilitāte un rīcībspēja” (2010-2014).
Pētījuma izstrādei pielietotas: kvantitatīvā metode – anketēšana (120 resp.), kvalitatīvā metode – strukturētā intervija (4 interv.), kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze (55 avoti) un novērojums.
Izdarīti secinājumi, ka:
•iedzīvotāju individuālajā sociālajā atmiņa spilgti negatīvi iezīmējas padomju laika sākuma posms: piespiedu kolektivizācija, represīvās metodes, deportācijas, kas ļauj tās uzskatīt par kolektīvo atmiņu. Identificēta kultūras traumas klātbūtne un tās dziedināšana muzeja komunikācijas darbībā;
•sociālā atmiņa pauž lauku iedzīvotāju ātru pielāgošanos jaunajām padomju varas prasībām;
•sociālā atmiņa pozitīvi (79%) raksturo padomju laiku skolā. 80% respondentu atzīst, ka ticēja padomju ideoloģijai, bet 38% – tā neatstāja iespaidu uz turpmāko dzīvi;
•mūsdienu sociālajā atmiņā iezīmējas neliela nostaļģija pēc padomju laika, attiecinot uz materiālo stāvokli un darba iespējām.

The research is based on M. Halbvakss’s cognition about including individual memory in the social frame and forming collective memory, on cognitions by social memory theoreticians and researchers’ conclusions and the newest social memory researches in the programme ‘National Identity, mobility and Capacity’ (2010- 2014) by the institute of Social and political researches of the faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Latvia. To do the research a quantitative method – a questionnaire (120 respondents), qualitative method – a structured interview (4 interviewees), qualitative content analysis (55 sources) and an observation have been used.
Several conclusions have been made:
•The first stage of the Soviet period: compulsory collectivisation, oppressive methods and deportations negatively reflect in rural inhabitants’ individual social memory. The presence of culture trauma and its treatment in the action of museum communication has been identified;
•Social memory utters rural inhabitants’ quick adaptation towards new requirements of the Soviet power;
•Social memory positively characterises the Soviet period in school (79% respondents). 80% respondents admit believing in the Soviet ideology but for 38% respondents it has not left any impression to their further life.
•In nowadays’ social memory there is slight nostalgia for the Soviet period, thinking about living conditions and job opportunities.
