Informācijas tehnoloģiju iespēju izmantošana iedzīvotāju sociālo problēmu risināšanā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā ”Informācijas tehnoloģiju iespēju izmantošana iedzīvotāju sociālo problēmu risināšanā” aplūkota informācijas sabiedrības rašanās un attīstība pasaulē un Latvijā. Analizēts informācijas tehnoloģiju nodrošinājums Latvijas publiskajās bibliotēkās. Darbā izklāstīta Latvijas valsts socilā politika un sociālo problēmu raksturojums. Analizēta sociālā un ekonomiskā situācija Latvijas reģionos. Pētījums balstās uz pašvaldību publisko bibliotēku pieredzi informācijas izplatības jomā. Aptaujā iegūtie rezultāti analizēti kopsakarā ar citiem Latvijā veiktiem pētījumiem par informācijas tehnoloģiju iespēju izmantošanu publiskajās bibliotēkās.

Master paper “Implementation of Information Technologies in the Solution of Social Problems of the Population” deals with the occurrance and development of information society in the world and in Latvia. It analyses the provision of information technologies in Latvian public libraries. The paper outlines the Latvian state social policy and social problems. The research is based on the experience of public libraries in the field of information dissemination. The results obtained in the survey are analysed in the context of other investigations performed in Latvia on the opportunities provided by the implementation of information technologies in public libraries.
