Abstract
Pētījuma mērķis ir aprakstīt un izpētīt Latvijas lielākos uzziņu dienestus 1188, 11 80 un 1189 InfoLine kā sociālā tipa informācijas centrus, jo Latvijas uzziņu dienestu darbība un to sniegto pakalpojumu kvalitāte ir maz pētīta.; tiek raksturoti to piedāvātie pakalpojumi, produkti, datu / informācijas ieguves veidi un operatori, izmatojot tādās pētniecības metodes kā intervēšana, anketēšana, eksperiments un kontentanalīze. Darbs ir balstīts uz ikdienā nepieciešamās informācijas ieguves modeli un kvalitātes novērtēšanas modeli, kas kalpo par pamatu uzziņu dienestu kopējam raksturojumam un pakalpojuma kvalitātes novērtēšanai.
The main aim of research is to describe and to investigate the most known reference services – 1188, 11 80, 1189 InfoLine – as social type of the information services in Latvia because an activity of Latvian reference services and a quality of their services is less considered. The services, products, types of acquired information/data and operators are described by the following research methods: the interviews, a questionnaire method, an experiment, a content analysis. A performance is based on an acquisition model of the necessary information for our daily life what makes the basics for a common profile of reference services and a determination of service quality.
