Testēšanas problēmas IT uzņēmumā

Abstract

Šajā darbā ir aprakstītas IT uzņēmuma testēšanas problēmas, un piedāvāti to risinājumi. Tiek apskatītas divas problēmas: pārāk tehniskā testēšanas scenāriju valoda, kura bieži nesatur darījuma aprakstu, un testēšanas automatizācijas skriptu sarežģītība, kā arī automatizācijas rīka aprakstošās dokumentācijas trūkums, kas traucē testētājiem sākt nodarboties ar testēšanas automatizāciju. Problēmu izpētei tiek izmantotas darbinieku aptaujas un nozares izpēte. Piedāvāti risinājumi ietver noteikumus, kuri paredzēti darījuma testēšanas scenāriju izstrādei, testētājiem tie ļauj lietot vienotu valodu. Lai vieglāk būtu strādāt ar automatizācijas rīku tiek sniegtas pamācības un papildus skripti, kas uzlabo esošo rīku. Izvēlētas problēmu risināšanas metodes palīdzēja uzlabot testēšanas procesu uzņēmumā.

This paper describes specific IT company’s testing problems and offers solutions. There are two main problems researched: too technical testing scenario language, which often doesn’t meet business needs, and testing automation framework maintenance and development problems, as well as lack of automation documentation. There were employee questionnaire and domain research used for situation analysis. The offered solution includes the recommendations for writing business testing scenarios, which allows testers to use unified language. There were additional scripts implemented into automation testing framework, which allow increasing automation tool usage. The problem solving methods helped to improve testing process in the company.
