EMS un eiro ieviešana Latvijā

Abstract

„EMS un eiro ieviešana Latvijā” Tēmas aktualitāte - Latvijā pašreiz inflācija ir viena no lielākām ES, turklāt budžeta deficīts jau pārsniedz Māstrihtas konverģences līgumā noteiktos 3%. Latvijas ekonomika uz doto brīdi atrodas lielās ekonomiskās problēmās. Eiro ieviešana un pievienošanās EMS sekmētu Latvijas ekonomisko attīstību. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētot EMS vēsturisko attīstību, Māstrihtas kritēriju izpildi Latvijā un ar izpildi saistītas problēmas, izstrādāt priekšlikumus Latvijas iestāšanai EMS un eiro ieviešanai. Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām. Pirmā nodaļā ir apskatīta EMS izveidošanās būtība un tiek pētīta tās vēsturiskā attīstība, kāpēc radās vajadzība pēc vienotas valūtas, un kā tā ietekmēja ES dalībvalstu ekonomiku. Otrā nodaļā ir analizēti Māstrihta konverģences līguma kritēriji un kā tos pilda Latvija. Ir izpētīts arī Nacionālais eiro ieviešanas plāns. Trešā nodaļā ir izvērtēta Slovēnijas, Kipras, Maltas un Slovākijas pieredze eiro ieviešanā. Nobeigumā secinājumi, autora sniegti risinājumi lai veicinātu Latvijas iestāšanos EMS un ieviestu eiro. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 70lpp, 5 tabulas, 8 attēli.

"EMU and the euro introduction in Latvia" Actuality - Inflation in Latvia is one of the largest in EU, and the budget deficit is already over the 3% mark (a 3% criterion is in contract of Maastricht convergence). The Latvian economy at this moment is in big economic problems and introduction of the euro and joining EMU would promote Latvia's economic development. The bachelor's goals is by studying the historical development of the EMU, and look in to the problems of reaching Maastricht criteria in Latvia, and develop proposals for Latvia's accession in to EMU and the introduction of euro. The work consists of three chapters. The first chapter describes the genesis and the nature of EMC and explores its historical evolution, and why the need for a single currency arose, and how it has affected EU member states' economies. The second chapter analyzes the criteria of Maastricht convergence contract, and how they are performed in Latvia. Second chapter also explores the National Euro Changeover Plan. The third chapter studies Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta and Slovak experience in implementation of euro. Finally, the conclusions and author’s solutions to promote Latvia's accession to EMU and the introduction of euro. Bachelor work consists of 70p, 5 tables, 8 figures.
