Diplomdarba tēma ir “Latviešu mentalitātes ietekme uz ekonomisko
attīstību un starptautiskajām attiecībām”. Darba mērķis ir atrast
kopsakarības starp mentalitātes iezīmēm un ekonomiskiem procesiem.
Darbā tiek aplūkota mentalitātes veidošanās, tās saistība ar kultūrām, to vērtību sistēmu, attieksmi pret darbu. Latviešu mentalitāte tiek apskatīta ekonomiskās krīzes kontekstā. Mentalitātes izpausmes tiek pētītas kā krīzes cēloņi, kā arī pētītas tās iezīmes cilvēku reakcijā pēc valsts taupības režīma ieviešanas. Darbā Latviešu mentalitāte tiek salīdzināta ar Grieķijas mentalitāti, kuru tāpat kā Latviju smagi ietekmēja pasaules ekonomiskā krīze. Analizējot protesta akcijas un cilvēku attieksmi pret tām, tiek izdarīti secinājumi par mentalitātes ietekmi. The theme of the graduation work is “The influence of mentality on the economical development and international relationship”. The object of this graduation work is to find the connection between the features of the mentality and economical processes. The development of the mentality, the connection between the mentality and cultures, as well as connection between mentality and different values and attitude to work are studied in this work. The Latvians’ mentality is studied with respect to the economical crisis. The mentality has been studied as a reason of the crisis, and also the features of the mentality have been studied with respect to the reaction of the society after introducing of the austerity measures. In this work the mentality of the Latvians has been compared with the Greeks’ mentality, whose country was also influenced by the economical crisis. Analyzing the protest actions and society’s attitude to them, the influence of the mentality has been concluded.
