Bezdarbs un tā mazināšanas pasākumi Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir „Bezdarbs un tā mazināšanas pasākumi Latvijā”. Zema nodarbinātība un augsts bezdarbs ir nopietna valsts un sabiedrības problēma, jo algots darbs lielākajai sabiedrības daļai ir ne tikai iztikas līdzekļu avots, tas veido identitāti, piederības un solidaritātes jūtas, stiprina pašapziņu. Līdz ar ekonomiskās lejupslīdes sākumu 2007. gada beigās šī problēma kļuvusi lielāka, tā kā valstī strauji pieauga bezdarba līmenis. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt bezdarba problēmu, aktīvās darba tirgus politikas pasākumus un to efektivitāti Latvijā, kā arī sniegt priekšlikumus bezdarba mazināšanai Latvijā. Darba rezultātā autors secina, ka bezdarba mazināšanai ir nepieciešams vēl vairāk naudas līdzekļu, lai nodarbinātības pasākumos varētu iesaistīt lielāku bezdarbnieku (īpaši problēmgrupu bezdarbnieku) skaitu un, lai būtu iespējams pievērst lielāku uzmanību uzņēmējdarbības veicināšanai. The theme of master`s work is „Unemployment and decrease measures of it in Latvia”. Low employment and high unemployment is a serious problem in the state and society because work for most of society is not only a source of livelihood, it also creates identity, feelings of belonging and solidarity, reinforces self-confidence. At the beginning of the economic depression in 2007 this problem increased because of the rapid increase of unemployment rate in the state. The goal of master`s work is to estimate an unemployment problem, the measures of active labour market policy and effectiveness of them in Latvia, how also to make proposals for an unemployment decrease in Latvia. In result of the work the author makes a conclusion that for an unemployment decrease it`s necessary even more money with the aim to involve a larger number of unemployed (especially unemployed from the most vulnerable groups) people in the employment measures and to have a possibility to pay more attention to the promotion of business undertakings.
