Maģistra darbā ir analizēta Latvijas patērētāja zināšanas un attieksme par korporatīvo sociālo atbildību finanšu nozares uzņēmumos Latvijā
Pēdējo gadu laikā finanšu nozare Latvijā ir acīmredzami attīstījusies, ir pieaudzis klientu skaits, banku skaits, tomēr finanšu krīzes ietekmē arvien aktuālāks kļuva jautājums par šo uzņēmumu sociāli atbildīgu rīcību. Tāpat līdz ar straujo attīstību, arvien aktuālāks jautājums ir klientu piesaiste un klientu uzmanības iegūšana, jo tieši šiem uzņēmumiem tie uztic savus naudas līdzekļus. Korporatīvā sociālā atbildība ir viens no veidiem, kā uzņēmumam parādīt, ka tam rūp nedz tikai peļņa, bet arī sabiedrības ieguvums.
Korporatīvā sociālā atbildība ir laba biznesa prakse, ka parāda, ka uzņēmums brīvprātīgi ir iekļāvis vides, sociālās un cilvēktiesību vērtības savā darbībā un attiecībās ar uzņēmumā ieeinteresētajām pusēm, piemēram, darbiniekiem, piegādātājiem, klientiem, investoriem, vietējo sabiedrību un citiem, tāpat sociālā atbildība ietver arī pozitīvu ieguldījumu sabiedrības attīstībā. Pēdējo gadu laikā ir arī būtiski pieaudzis korporatīvo sociālo aktivitāšu skaits finanšu jomas uzņēmumos.
Maģistra darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz teorētisko literatūru un praktisko pētījumu, izprast un izpētīt patērētāju viedokli par KAS finanšu jomas uzņēmumos Latvijā, kā arī izstrādāt priekšlikumus korporatīvās sociālās atbildības uzlabošanai uzņēmumu un patērētāju vidē Latvijā finanšu sektora uzņēmumiem
Autore izvirzījusi šādas hipotēzes:
1.Latvijas patērētāji neizprot KAS jēdzienu un tā būtību.
2. Veiksmīga un pozitīva KAS pozitīvi ietekmē Latvijas patērētāja lēmumu izvēloties finanšu pakalpojuma sniedzēju.
Darba rezultātā abas hipotēzes ir apstiprinātas.

In recent years, the financial industry has obviously evolved, number of customers of banks has increased, but the financial crisis became more pressing issue on their socially responsible behavior. Similarly, with the rapid development, more and more important issue is customer acquisition and gain customer attention, because this companies should eran their trust to operate with customers funds.
Corporate social responsibility is one of the ways for the company to show that it cares about not just profits, but also about the public good.Corporate social responsibility is a good business practice that shows that the company voluntarily included environmental, social and human values in their activities and their relations with the companys stakeholders such as employees, suppliers, customers, investors, local communities and others. In recent years we have seen a significant increase in the number of corporate social activities in the financial sector companies.
Master's thesis is based on the theoretical literature and practical research to understand and explore consumers' views on the financial sector Latvian enterprises and to develop proposals to improve the corporate social responsibility of business and consumer environment Latvian financial sector companies. The author put forward the following hypothesis:
1.Latvian consumers do not understand the concept of CSR and its nature.
2. Successful and positive a positive impact on consumers' decisions when choosing Latvian financial service provider. Based on work performed, both of hypotheses has been confirmed.
