| dc.description.abstract | Diplomdarba tēma ir Uzņēmuma tīmekļa vietnes pilnveidošana. Tā mērķis ir izpētīt un izanalizēt konkrētas tīmekļa vietnes pārveidošanas procesu, iepazīties ar iepriekšējo dizainu un funkcionalitāti, analizēt visus mīnusus un plusus.
Lai sasniegtu diplomdarba mērķi, darba autors izpētīja iepriekšējās tīmekļa vietnes struktūru un izskatu, ka arī konsultējās ar tīmekļa vietnes izstrādātājiem. Autors piedalījās jauna dizaina izstrādē un ieviešanā, kas palīdzēja diplomdarba mērķu sasniegšanā.
Diplomdarbā ir secināts, ka pilnveidot esošo tīmekļa vietni ir daudz sarežģītāk, nekā veidot jaunu tīmekļa vietni. Lai tas būtu iespējams ir nepieciešama laba komanda, kur dizaineri strādā kopā ar programmētājiem. Katras detaļas ieviešana ir jāapspriež un jāplāno, jo visas izmaiņas uzreiz ietekmē esošos lietotājus. Diplomdarba izstrādes rezultātā tika izveidots vērtīgs materiāls, kuru var izmantot gan esošo tīmekļa vietņu izstrādātāji, gan citi, kam nākas sastapties ar tīmekļa vietnes novecošanās problēmu.
Darbs sastāv no 5 nodaļām, 64 lappusēm, 47 attēliem un 4 tabulām.

| dc.description.abstract | The theme of the Diploma Paper is Company’s website improvement. The goal of the study is to examine the concrete website improvement process, study the previous design and functionality and analyze all the pros and cons.
To reach the goal of the Diploma Paper, author analyzed the previous website structure and look, as well as talked to the website developers. Author took part in the new design creation and release, which helped to reach the goal.
The author made a conclusion that it is much harder to improve the existing website, rather than to create a new website from the very beginning. To make this possible, there must be a good team of designers and developers. Each detail should be discussed and planned, because any change can affect the existing costumers right away. While developing the Diploma Paper, author created a useful material, which can be used by existing website developers or any other team that struggles with their website inefficiency problems.
The Paper consists of 5 chapters, 64 pages, 47 pictures and 4 tables.
