Gaujas krastu erozija posmā no Braslavas ietekas līdz Braslas ietekai

Abstract

Darbā apskatīti mūsdienu ģeoloģiskie un hidroloģiskie procesi upēs, kuru ietekmē notiek gultnes pārveidošanās. Galvenā vērība pievērsta krastu erozijas procesiem, kā rezultātā notiek to atkāpšanās, tiek apdraudēti upes tuvumā esošie infrastruktūras objekti, mājas. Gaujas gultnes izmaiņas analizētas salīdzinot dažādu gadu (1977. gada topogrāfiskās kartes un 2008. gada ortofotokartes) kartogrāfisko materiālu. Darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām, tā kopējais apjoms 38 lpp. Pirmajā nodaļā veikts literatūras apskats par mūsdienu ģeoloģiskajiem procesiem upēs un faktoriem, kas tos ietekmē. Otrajā nodaļā aprakstīti pētījuma materiāli un metodes. Trešajā nodaļā apkopoti autores pētījumu rezultāti par Gaujas krastu eroziju pētāmajā posmā. Tekstu papildina 22 attēli (kartes, shēmas). Geological and hydrological processes causing changes in the channel of rivers are studied in the current paper. The main emphasis is put on the bank erosion processes that cause their recession; infrastructure, houses located close to a river becomes endangered. Comparison of two different cartographic materials (topographic map from 1977. and ortophotos from 2008.) has been used to study changes in the Gauja channel. The current paper consists of three parts; the paper consists of 38 pages. The first part studies the literature about the latest geological processes in rivers and factors influencing them. The second part describes materials gained in the research and methods used. The third part covers author’s own research results about the Gauja bank erosion within the set period of time. The paper contains 22 pictures (maps, schemes). The author has used 28 sources. Key words: Gauja, erosion, meander, channel change
