Materiālu īpašību 3D struktūras ģeneralizācija reģionālā hidroģeoloģiskā modelī ar normalizētās kompresijas distances metriku

Abstract

Kvartāra nogulumu reprezentācija reģionālā hidroģeoloģiskā modelī ir sarežģīta problēma šo nogulumu heterogenitātes un tās atspoguļošanai nepietiekamā urbumu griezumu datu apjoma dēļ. Lai to uzlabotu, tiek izstrādāta darba gaita, kas ļauj ģeneralizēt kvartāra nogulumu slāņiem atbilstošo filtrācijas modeļa īpašību 3D ģeometrijas struktūru, izmantojot normalizēto kompresijas distances (NKD) metriku - inovatīvu metodi neparametriskajā mašīnapmācībā, kas līdz šim brīdim ir maz lietota ģeozinātnēs. Darba gaitā izveidoto ģeneralizāciju atbilstība tiek pārbaudīta ar modeļsistēmas aprēķiniem. Tiek iegūts rezultātu uzlabojums, salīdzinot ar agrāko reģionālā modeļa kvartāra slāņu reprezentāciju filtrācijas modeļa 3D struktūrā. Šis NKD lietojums ir oriģināls un potenciāli noderīgs citu Zemes sistēmas daļu modelēšanai.

Representation of Quaternary deposits in a regional hydrogeological model is a complex issue due to sediment heterogeneity and the small number of borehole log data available. To improve this, a workflow is developed for generalization of the Quaternary strata in the filtration model 3D geometry structure, using the normalized compression distance (NCD) metric - a novel non-parametric machine learning method, currently underrepresented in geoscience applications. The generalizations created with this workflow are tested by running modelling system calculations. Improved results are obtained, compared to the previous Quaternary strata representation in the filtration model 3D geometry structure of the regional model. This use of NCD is original, and may be of interest for modelling other parts of the Earth system.
