Abstract

Daži skolēni var iemācīties lasīt paši, bet daudziem ir vajadzīga palīdzība. Lai tas būtu iespējams, pasniedzējiem ir jāpielieto dažādas lasīšanas stratēģijas. Vislabākais veids, kā var iemācīties saprast tekstus, ir daudz lasīt. Tas ļauj skolēniem atpazīt teksta mērķus, izanalizēt tekstu un izdarīt secinājumus. Šī darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka jebkurš skolēns var iemācīties saprast literāros tekstus. Darbā ir aprakstītas un izanalizētas galvenās pieejas kā var iemācīties lasīt, uzsverot teksta mērķus. Some students can master the reading of literary texts themselves, but some students need some help. In order to do this, students will need to use some reading strategies that could let them interact with the text. The research argues that the best way to master reading comprehension is to complement reading with activities. It enables students to inverstigate relations between ideas, analyze, and draw relevant conclusions. The purpose of the present bachelor paper is to prove that literature is highly useful in teaching the English language. The paper examines the basic approaches used to teach reading comprehension of non-referential, literary texts. The bachelor paper contains both practical and theoretical methods to teaching comprehension of the literary texts.
