Jauniešu politiskā socializācija, Valkas, Valmieras un Rīgas vidusskolas klašu skolēnu piemēru salīdzinājumā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Jauniešu politiskā socializācija, Valkas, Valmieras un Rīgas vidusskolas klašu skolēnu piemēru salīdzinājumā”. Pētījuma autores Annikas Ziediņas izvirzītā hipotēze ir, ka mūsdienās politiskā socializācija lielajās pilsētās (Rīga, Valmiera) ir veiksmīgāka, tāpēc arī jauniešu līdzdalības un ieinteresētības pakāpe politiskajos procesos ir augstāka tieši šajās pilsētās.

Autores diplomdarba mērķis ir izzināt vidusskolas vecuma jauniešu pilsoniskās apziņas veidošanos, kā arī izpētīt politiskās socializācijas aģentu lomu skolēna izpratnes veidošanā attiecībā uz politiskajiem procesiem un salīdzināt jauniešu attieksmi pret politiskajiem procesiem vairākās Latvijas pilsētās. Par bakalaura darba pētījuma bāzi autore izmantoja Valkas, Valmieras un Rīgas vidusskolu klašu skolēnus. Aptaujā tika noskaidroti galvenie politiskās socializācijas aģenti, kuri raksturīgi minēto pilsētu jauniešu vidū, skolēnu interese par politiskajām aktualitātēm un vēlme iesaistīties politiskajos procesos nākotnē.

Bakalaura darba teorētiskā daļa iekļauj informāciju par socializācijas un politiskās socializācijas būtību, to pieejām, stadijām, norisi un aģentiem. Savukārt, empīriskajā daļā tiek analizēti un salīdzināti iegūtie dati no anketām Valkā, Valmierā un Rīgā.

The subject of the graduation paper is “Youth political socialisation, Valka’s, Valmiera’s and Riga’s High schools’ students’ examples’ comparison”. Author of the research Annika Ziediņa has introduced a hypothesis that the political socialisation in big cities (as Riga, Valmiera) is more successful, therefore also a level of participation and involvement of young adults in political processes is higher in these cities.

The goal of the graduation paper is to inquire the formation of civic consciousness of young adults as well as research the role of political socialisation agents in regards to the formation of individual’s perception of the political processes and compare the attitude towards political processes in several cities of Latvia. The subjects of this research are the pupils of the High schools of Valka, Valmiera and Riga. The main political socialisation agents that are popular among the young students are clarified, and the students’ interest about the political issues, as well as desire to participate in different political processes in the future is examined in the research.

The theoretical part of the graduation paper includes the information about the essence of the socialisation and political socialisation, their processes, approaches, stages and agents. In the empirical part of the paper the data from the student poll in Valka, Valmiera and Riga is analysed and compared.
