Pieminēšanas mediju rituāla diskursi 1989. gada 23. augusta akcijai "Baltijas ceļš" un 1991. gada janvāra barikādēm veltītajās publikācijās (1989-2010)

Abstract

1989. gada 23. augusta akcija “Baltijas ceļš” un 1991. gada janvāra barikādes vēsturē palikušas kā nevardarbīgās pretošanās fenomeni padomju režīmam. Darba teorētiskajā daļā detalizēti un daudzpusīgi raksturoti mediju “rituāla” un “kolektīvās atmiņas” koncepti. Lietojot diskursa vēsturisko metodi, pētījumā atsegta “mēs”–“viņi” diskursa konstrukcija akcijai “Baltijas ceļš” un 1991. gada janvāra barikādēm veltītajās preses publikācijās laika periodā no 1989. gada augusta līdz 2010. gada janvārim. Secinājuma daļā atspoguļots “mēs”– “viņi” grupu šķīrums un tā izpratnes izmaiņas laika gaitā, kā arī pieminēšanas mediju rituāla realizācija un tā ietekme uz kolektīvo atmiņu kopienu formēšanos.

The Baltic Way action of August 23, 1989, and the Barricades of January 1991 have gone down into history as a phenomenon of non-violent resistance against the Soviet regime. In the theoretical part of the paper concepts of “ritual” and “collective memory” are examined in detailed and multilateral manner. The discourse–historical method was used to reveal the discursive construction of “us vs. them” in the press publications dedicated to the Baltic Way action and the Barricades of January 1991 in the period from August 1989 to January 2010. “Us vs. them” discourse and differences of its perception in different periods of time are presented in the concluding part of the paper, as well as realization of commemorative media ritual and its influence on the formation of communities of collective memory.
