Eksperiments un fokusgrupas diskusija pievēršas to apskatei praktiski.

The bachelor paper “Video game and film narrative convergence” offers an insight in media convergence as a problem of 21st century, taking as an example blending of narratives in video games and film. Due to technological progress, outlining the distinction between the two becomes difficult, since the principles of their narrative messages are starting to merge. Interactive film is an example.
To find boundaries between the two, the paper deals with theories of the concept of narrative. Experiment and focus group take a look at the concept in practice. The results of the work reveal similarities and differences between both narratives and provide recommendations for improvement of their convergence as well as for the reduction of it.
