Citēšanas principi Latvijas Universitātē

Abstract

Citēšanas principi ir būtiska zinātniskās komunikācijas un informācijas apmaiņas sastāvdaļa. Vēsturisku tradīciju un zinātniskās komunikācijas attīstības rezultātā zinātņu nozarēs mēdz izmantot vienu vai vairākus citēšanas stilus. Jaunajiem pētniekiem ir jāapgūst citēšanas stili, lai orientētos to plašajā daudzveidībā un spētu pildīt zinātnisko žurnālu un citu izdevumu prasības un publicēšanās kārtību. Augstskolas ir viena no tām vietām, kur akadēmiskās rakstības iemaņas var apgūt. Pētījumā analizēta situācija Latvijas Universitātes fakultātēs - kāda ir to izvēle attiecībā uz citēšanas stiliem, kuri jāpielieto studiju noslēguma darbos, kā tiek nodrošināta studentu informētība un bibliogrāfisko norāžu un atsauču prasmju veicināšana, kāda ir LU Bibliotēkas loma šajā procesā.

The principles of citation are an important part of scientific communication and exchange of information. Taking into consideration historical tradition and scientific communication`s developmental results in various science fields can be used either one particular or several citation styles. To be able navigate amongst all the various types of citation and be able to fulfill the requirements and publication order of scientific journals and other printed materials the new scientists need to acquire these citation styles. The higher education establishment (university, academy etc.) is one of the places, where it is possible to gain ability of academical (scientifical) writing.
