Abstract

Zinātnes attīstības rezultātā informācijas daudzums palielinās katru gadu, tādēļ arī cilvēkiem jāpaaugstina savas lasīšanas prasmes. Svarīgi ir izpētīt, ar kādām metodēm iespējams palielināt lasīšanas ātrumu, kā arī noskraidot, cik tās ir efektīvas. Pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt un izskaidrot ātrlasīšanas procesu, tā iespējas, priekšrocības un nozīmi, tādējādi padarot šo lasīšanas veidu tuvāku un saprotamāku lasītājiem, kā arī atklāt datorizētās ātrlasīšanas apguves iespējas un efektivitāti. Bibliotekāru zināšanas par ātrlasīšanas pamatnoteikumiem un metodēm ir viduvējas, pārsvarā šis lasīšanas veids tiek atpazīts kā spēja ātri apgūt lielu informācijas daudzumu, taču retais spēj atbildēt uz kādiem galvenajiem principiem balstās ātrlasīšana. Datorizētās ātrlasīšanas programmas ir ērts un efektīvs veids kā apgūt galvenos ātrlasīšanas pamatnoteikumus un palielināt lasīšanas ātrumu.

The aim of paper is to finde out and explain speed reading process and to show how computer-based speed reading programms works, on what they are based and how effective are they. Thus bringing speed reading closer to readers. Librarians describes speed reading as one way how to manage with large amount of information, however they can not name the most fundamental speed reading principles. Computer-based speed reading programms is an effective and convenient form how to learn speed reading rules and increase reading speed.
