| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darba tēma ir „Sports kā maigās varas instruments Krievijas ietekmes nostiprināšanā postpadomju zonas valstīs”. Krievijas izveidotās starptautiskās sporta līgas liek domāt, ka tā mēģina izmantot sportu kā maigās varas instrumentu postpadomju valstīs. Darba mērķis – noskaidrot, cik lielā apmērā Krievija cenšas realizēt maigo varu postpadomju valstīs, izmantojot sportu kā maigās varas instrumentu. Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkota varas izpratne politikā, maigās varas koncepts, sporta nozīme politikā. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi, tika analizēti Krievijas oficiālie ārpolitikas dokumenti, pētīta Krievijas izveidoto starptautisko sporta līgu vadības un finansētāju saistība ar Krievijas politisko eliti. Tika secināts, ka Krievija tiešām izmanto sportu kā maigās varas instrumentu, lai palielinātu savu ietekmi postpadomju zonas valstīs. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The theme of the masters thesis is „Sport as a Soft Power Tool in Strengthening the Influence of Russia in the Countries of Post-Soviet Area”.International sports leagues created by Russia lead to think that it is trying to use sport as a soft power tool in the post-soviet area.The aim of the thesis–to find out if Russia is trying to use sport as a soft power tool in the post-soviet countries.Theoretical part of the thesis consists of studying the concept of power,the soft power concept,the meaning of sport in politics.Empirical part of the thesis consists of analyzing the official foreign policy documents of Russia,exploring the link between the political elite of Russia and management of sports leagues created by Russia.It was concluded that Russia is using sport as a soft power tool to strengthen its influence in the post-soviet area. | en_US |
