Dienvidāzijas reģionālās drošības komplekss: Indijas un Pakistānas iesaiste Afganistānā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā autore pievēršas Dienvidāzijas reģionālās drošības kompleksam, galveno pētniecisko uzsvaru liekot uz Indijas un Pakistānas naidošanās/draudzīguma attiecību izpēti, aplūkojot atsevišķi Indijas un Pakistānas, Indijas un Afganistānas, kā arī Indijas un Afganistānas attiecības gan politiskajā, gan ekonomiskajā sektorā. Darba teorētisko ietvaru veido Barija Buzana reģionālās drošības kompleksa teorija. Lai gan abu valstu mērķis ir miers un stabilitāte Afganistānā, Indija Afganistānā galvenokārt apliecina savu lielvaras kapacitāti, savukārt Pakistānas viens no svarīgākajiem mērķiem ir Indijas ietekmes mazināšana Afganistānā, lai atspēkotu tās arvien lielāko tuvināšanos ar Afganistānas politisko eliti, biznesa vidi un sabiedrību. Indijas un Pakistānas attiecību stabilitātei un to izlīguma un sadarbības centieniem ir nozīme Afganistānas tālākajā attīstībā, kā arī reģiona drošības situācijas uzlabošanā kopumā.

This research concentrates on South Asia Regional Security Complex (RSC) by focusing on conflicting relationship between India and Pakistan, specifically, how they engage with Afghanistan. It is argued that strategic interests of India and Pakistan in Afghanistan are bound up in its complex relationship based on enmity/amity patterns. The purpose of the author is to examine and explore how India and Pakistan engage with Afghanistan politically and economically. Stategic interests of both countries is stable Afghanistan, however, Indian approach is based on establishment of its hegemony over Afghanistan and to gain the international recognition, whereas Pakistan seeks to rebalance influence of India. A viable peace and stability of Afghanistan depends on regional approach, so that cooperation of India and Pakistan and reduction of hostility and mistrust is essential for further security and stability of Afghanistan and the region as a whole.
