Sociālā darbinieka darbs ar bērniem institucionālajā aprūpē

Abstract

Šī diplomdarba temats ir Sociālā darbinieka darbs ar bērniem institucionālajā aprūpē. Diplomdarba tēmas izvēli ietekmēja fakts, ka autores prakses vietas ir bijušas gan vienā no Latvijas bērnunamiem, gan arī sociālajā dienestā, tādēļ autore vēlējās iegūt plašāku redzējumu par sociālā darbinieka uzdevumiem bērnu institucionālajā aprūpē. Autore bija ieinteresēta sīkāk izpētīt, ko bērnu institucionālajā aprūpē dara sociālais darbinieks, kādi ir viņa pienākumi, uzdevumi, jo nav izveidota vienoti darba uzdevumi sociālajiem darbiniekiem bērnu sociālās aprūpes institūcijās. Autore savam diplomdarbam izvirzīja šādu mērķi - izpētīt sociālā darbinieka darbu ar bērniem institucionālajā aprūpē, lai salīdzinātu un veiktu apkopojumu par sociālo darbinieku uzdevumiem, pienākumiem, darbību bērnu institucionālās aprūpes iestādēs. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi ir izvirzīti uzdevumi to sasniegšanai: izpētīt bērnu ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes un sociālās rehabilitācijas institūciju darbību, izpētīt bērnu sociālo aprūpi, noskaidrot bērnu institucionālās aprūpes darbības mērķus un uzdevumus, iepazīties ar sociālo darbinieku darbu bērnu institucionālajā aprūpē, noskaidrot sociālā darbinieka sadarbību ar citām institūcijām darbā ar bērniem institucionālajā aprūpē, salīdzināt un veikt apkopojumu par sociālo darbinieku uzdevumiem, pienākumiem, darbību dažādās institucionālās aprūpes iestādēs. Autore savā darbā apskata bērnu institucionālās aprūpes darbību – noskaidro institūciju darbības mērķus, uzdevumus, tos salīdzina ar Latvijas likumdošanu, izpēta iemeslus, kādēļ bērni nonāk bērnunamos un iemeslus, kādēļ tos atstāj. Autore iepazīstas ar sociālā darbinieka uzdevumiem bērnu institucionālās aprūpes iestādēs. Empīriskā pētījuma veikšanai autore izmanto padziļinātās, daļēji strukturētās intervijas un dokumentu analizēšanu. Intervijas ir veiktas ar bērnu institucionālās aprūpes speciālistu Labklājības departamentā, sociālo darbinieku sociālajā dienestā un sociālajiem darbiniekiem bērnu institucionālajā aprūpē. Sadaļā rezultāti un diskusija var redzēt autores izveidotos vienotos uzdevumus sociālajiem darbiniekiem bērnu institucionālajā aprūpē. Galvenie uzdevumi ir bērna lietas iekārtošana, sadarbība ar citām institūcijām, bērna iepazīstināšana ar institūciju, sociālā rehabilitācijas plāna sastādīšana un regulāri jānovērtē sniegto pakalpojumu kvalitāte.

A theme of this diploma work is “The work of social worker with children in the institutional care”. The choice of theme of diploma work was influenced by fact, that an author has worked in her field practice at both the one of Latvia’s children’s home and at the social service that is why an author wanted to gain a wider vision of duties of social worker in the institutional care of children. An author is interested to research, what the social worker is doing in the institutional care of children, what are his duties, tasks, because there are not made the common work tasks for social workers at the institutions of children’s social care. The target of diploma work is to research the work of social worker with children in the institutional care in order to compare and make a summary of social worker tasks, duties, activities at the institutions of children’s institutional care. To achieve a raised target, the tasks are advanced: to explore the activities of children’s permanent social care and social rehabilitation institutions, children’s social care nowadays, to clarify the aims and targets of children’s institutional care activities, to get acquainted with work of social workers in the children’s institutional care, to clarify the cooperation of social worker with other institutions at the work with children in the institutional care, to compare and make summary about social worker’s tasks, duties, activities at the various institutional care institutions. An author at her work surveys the activities of children’s institutional care – clarifies the targets, tasks, compares them with legislation of Latvia, researches the reasons, why children get in children’s homes and why they leave them. An author gets acquainted with tasks of social worker in the children’s institutional care institutions. For accomplishing the empirical research an author uses deepened, partly structured interviews and analyzing documents. Interviews are performed with children’s institutional care expert from ministry of welfare, social worker from social service and social workers in the children’s institutional care. In the sections “Results” and “Discussion” it is possible to see the common tasks for social workers in the children’s institutional care, made by author. The main tasks are the establishment of child’s case, cooperation with other institutions, child’s acquaintance with institution, constituting the social rehabilitation plan and regular assessment of quality of the rendered services.
