Protekcionisma politikas esamība mūsdienu līgumu sistēmā

Abstract

Diplomdarbā tiek apskatīts protekcionisma politikas pielietojums mūsdienīgā starptautiskā ekonomikā. Protekcionisma izpausme 18.gadsimtā atšķīrās no tā ko var novērot tagad. Pateicoties starptautiskām organizācijām un līgumiem protekcionisms nevar tik plaši izpausties, bet joprojām valstis pievēršas pie šis politikas. Pētījuma mērķis ir apskatīt kā ir mainījušas protekcionisma metodes ar laiku un kā to pielieto nepārkāpjot likumus, kā arī PTO un PMO lomu pasaules ekonomikas pasargāšana no protekcionisma. Diplomdarbā tiek izmantoti PTO, neatkarīgo datubāzu statistiski dati, kā arī zinātniskie raksti, preses izdevumi kā arī tika veikta ekspertu aptauja. Diplomdarba iegūtie rezultāti –mūsdienīgais protekcionisms atšķiras no tā protekcionisma par kuru runāja ekonomisti 18.gadsimtā un to ir iespējami pielietot protekcionisma politiku un starptautiskie līgumi un organizācijas var mainīt tikai to intensitāti un nevar to apturēt.

This paper is dedicated to the research of the nowadays protectionism methods. In the 18th century, people had completely different understanding and motivation for the protectionism implementation. The aim of this research is to see how this policy changed with time and how it is possible to implementē it without breaking the international agreement, also author will take a look at the WTO and WCO try to protect the world economy. For this purpose WTO ,independent database’s statistical data and multiple research papers, mass media materials were studied ,also author made a questionaire for the experts. The paper concluded that protectionism measures are not the same anymore, but they are still widely used all over the world, WTO and WCO are able only to control its intensity but ceasing it at them moment seems to be impossible.
