ES pieeja attiecībā uz Rietumbalkānu valstīm- problēmas un risinājumi

Abstract

Šis maģistra darbs ir par Eiropas Savienības (ES) un Rietumbalkānu valstu attiecībām. Minētās valstis saista ES paplašināšanās projekts, lai nākotnē tās iespējams pievienotos tai. Tomēr ES pieprasa dalības kritēriju un nosacījumu izpildi tām valstīm, kuras vēlas pievienoties. Maģistra darba mērķis ir skaidrot un analizēt Rietumbalkānu valstu politisko un ekonomisko situāciju, ES acquis kritērijus un Stabilizācijas un asociācijas procesa norisi. Lai atvieglotu analīzes procesu, tas piedāvāts kā Horvātijas piemēra analīze. Horvātija kopš 2013.gada 1.jūlija ir ES 28. dalībvalsts.

This master thesis is focused on the relations between the European Union (EU) and the Western Balkan countries. Those countries are attracted by the EU’s enlargement project in order to join the EU one day, whilst the EU requires the fulfillment of conditions and obligations of membership for the countries wishing to join the EU. The aim of the thesis is to explain and analyze the political and economic situation, the EU acquis criteria and the Stabilisation and Association Process for the countries of the Western Balkans. To make the analytical process simpler, it is provided as a case study of Croatia, which since 1 July 2013 is the 28th Member State of the EU.
