Abstract

Vīrs R. 2009. Devona Salaspils svītas ģipšaino nogulumu tipi Salaspils un Liepmežu atradnēs. Bakalaura darbs. Rīga, Latvijas Universitāte, Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultāte. 61 lpp.

Bakalaura darbā ir salīdzinātas divas atradnes: Salaspils atradne, kura jau sen ir pētīta un Liepmežu atradne, kura ir izpētīta pavisam nesen. Darbā salīdzināta dažādu nogulumu slāņu biezumu attiecība pret derīgās slāņkopas biezumu, kā arī ģipšakmens kvalitāte. Ir izklāstītas atšķirības un līdzības starp Salaspils un Liepmežu atradņu ģipšainajiem nogulumiem. Abās atradnēs augstāks vidējais ģipša saturs nav tieši proporcionāls ģipša kārtiņu biezuma attiecībai pret derīgās slāņkopas biezumu. Tas nozīmē, ka ģipša slāņu daudzums un tuvums viens otram nebūt nenozīmē, ka tie būs kvalitatīvāki nekā atsevišķi, izolēti ģipša slāņi. Gan Salaspils, gan Liepmežu ģipša kvalitāte (CaSO4∙2H2O) ir augsta Latvijas ģipša atradnēm un tā atbilst 1. šķiras būvģipsim. Domājams, Liepmežu atradne ir perspektīva ģipšaino nogulumu iegūšanas vieta.

There are compared 2 deposits in Bachelor thesis: Salaspils deposit, which is explored for a long time ago and Liepmeži deposit, which is explored recently. There is compared layer thickness of different deposits with total thickness of commercial beds, as well as quality of the gypsum. Differences and similarities between Salaspils and Liepmeži gypsic deposits are studied. In these two deposits higher average gypsum content is not proportional to gypsic layer thickness ratio to commercial beds total thickness. It means that amount of the gypsum layers and closeness to each other doesn’t means that they are of higher quality than single, isolated gypsum layers. In both Salaspils and Liepmeži deposits quality of gypsum (CaSO4∙2H2O) is high compared to other gypsum deposits of Latvia and it corresponds to the 1st category of building gypsum. Supposedly the deposit of Liepmeži is perspective for mining of gypsum.
