| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma ir Pierīgas apdzīvojuma dzīves vide: Ķekava kā piemērs. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tiek pētīts Ķekavas pagasts, kas sniedz plašāku ieskatu pagasta iedzīvotāju vidū.
Bakalaura darbam ir piecas nodaļas, kas palīdz izskaidrot darba tēmu.
Pirmajā nodaļā analizēti galvenie jēdzieni un definīcijas.
Otrajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta apdzīvojuma attīstība un struktūra Latvijā – piepilsētās (galvenokārt Rīgas apkārtnē), kā arī apdzīvojuma struktūra pēdējos 20 gados.
Trešā nodaļa sniedz ieskatu par Ķekavas pagastu, tā vispārīgu raksturojumu.
Ceturtā nodaļa atspoguļo izmantotās metodes un galvenos datu avotus.
Piektā nodaļa izklāsta Ķekavas pagasta apdzīvojuma sistēmas raksturojumu un attīstību, iekļaujot iedzīvotāju attieksmes un mobilitātes pētījumu.
Darba noslēgumā tiek izdarīti darba gaitā radušies secinājumi.

| dc.description.abstract | Bachelor's working theme is Human Habitat in Adjacent Areas at Riga City: Kekava as an Example. Bachelor's part of the job being studied Kekava parish, which provided more insight into the parish population.
Bachelor's work has five chapters, which helps explain the topic.
The first chapter analyzes the main concepts and definitions.
The second chapter examines the development of distribution of population and structure in Latvia - suburbs (mainly in the vicinity of Riga), as well as the settlement structure in the last 20 years.
The third chapter provides an overview of Kekavas parishes, its general characteristics.
The fourth section reflects the methods used and the main data sources.
Chapter five sets out Kekavas parish settlement system characteristics and developments, including the treatment of citizens and the mobility study.
Work finally being made in the course of work resulting conclusions.
