dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma izvēlēta un izstrādāta vadoties no manas darba pieredzes traumatoloģijā. Pētīti tiek pacienti ar augšējo ekstremitāšu lūzumiem, kuri ārstējas ambulatori.
Hipotēze: Pacientu informētība un zināšanas par ārstēšanas procesu uzlabo pacientu līdzdalību ārstēšanas procesā un veicina atveseļošanos.
Pētījuma mērķis: Noskaidrot kāda informācija pacientam nepieciešama augšējo ekstremitāšu lūzuma gadījumā.
Darbs sastāv no ievada, sešām nodaļām, literatūras saraksta, kurā izmantoti 30 literatūras avoti. Darba apjoms ir 36 lpp., pielikumā ir seši pielikumi. Nodaļās aprakstīta traumu un lūzumu klasifikācija, biežāk sastopamie lūzumu veidi un pacientu izglītošanas nozīme.
Pētījuma veikšanai izmantota kvantitatīvā pētniecības metode, pētījuma instruments – anketa. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka pacienti vēlas saņemt informāciju, un ka šī informācija palīdz līdzdarboties ārstēšanas procesā un sekmīgāk atveseļoties.

dc.description.abstract | Bachelor's theme selected and developed in the light of my work experience traumatoloģijā. Investigated are the patients with upper limb fractures in outpatient treatment.
Hypothesis: Patients' awareness and knowledge of the treatment process improves the patients' participation in the treatment process and promotes recovery.
The aim of the study: To determine what information the patient requires the upper limb fracture.
The work consists of an introduction, six chapters, a bibliography, which used 30 sources. The work amounts to 36 p.. Annexing has six appendices. The chapters describing the injury and fracture classification of the most frequent type of fracture and patient education role.
The survey used in quantitative research method, the research tool - a questionnaire. The results of the study suggest that patients who wish to receive information, and that this information helps to participate in the process of treatment and better recovery.
