| dc.description.abstract | Sporta traumas, balsta un kustību aparāta bojājumi ir viena no vadošajām problēmām sporta medicīnā. Sporta traumu ārstēšanā pārsvarā izmanto nesteroīdos pretiekaisuma līdzekļus (NSPL), kā homeopātiskos preparātus (Traumeel S) un dažādas papildus terapijas, piemēram, fizioterapiju. NSPL izraisa vairākus nevēlamus blakus efektus, tāpēc tiek meklētas alternatīvas metodes traumu ārstēšanai, piemēram, homeopātija. Darba mērķis bija salīdzināt preparātu Traumeel S ar NSPL sporta traumu ārstēšanā. Traumeel S ir laba alternatīva NSPL traumu ārstēšanā, jo sāpju samazināšanās un kustību atjaunošanās laiks bija tikai nedaudz ilgāks kā NSPL, taču Traumeel S neizraisa blakus efektus.

| dc.description.abstract | Sports injuries, mainly musculoskeletal injuries, are one of the leading clinical problems in sports medicine. Treatment for these kind of injuries mainly includes non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and sometimes homeopathic remedies (Traumeel S), and various additional treatment therapies, for example, physical therapy. NSAIDs causes various side effects, that’s why doctors are looking for alternative treatments, for example, homeopathy. The aim of this study was to compare Traumeel S and NSAIDs for curing sports injuries. Traumeel S is a good alternative to NSAIDs, because the time needed to reliefe the pain and regain the function of extremities was almost the same like NSAIDs, but Traumeel S didn’t cause any side effects.
