Bibliotekāra stereotipi un to maiņa mūsdienās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Bibliotekāra stereotipi un to maiņa mūsdienās” sniedz ieskatu šobrīd sabiedrībā valdošajos bibliotekāra stereotipos, parāda gan bibliotekāru, gan bibliotēkas lietotāju un visas sabiedrības domas par bibliotekāro profesiju. Bakalaura darbā izmantoti teorētiskie darbi par bibliotekāra profesiju. Pētījums tiek balstīts uz Latvijas Nacionālajā bibliotēkā un ar bibliotēku nesaistītā sabiedrībā veiktās socioloģiskās aptaujas rezultātiem. Darbā tiek sniegts galveno jēdzienu raksturojums, aplūkota bibliotekārās profesijas vēsture un attīstības tendences, aplūkots bibliotekāra tēls sabiedrībā, apskatīti sabiedrībā valdošie bibliotekāra stereotipi, kā arī izklāstīti socioloģiskajās aptaujās iegūtie rezultāti, sniegts to novērtējums un izdarīti secinājumi par mūsdienu sabiedrībā valdošajiem bibliotekāru stereotipiem.

The subject of my bachelor paper is ” Stereotypes of a Librarian and Their Change in Nowadays”. It gives insight into the main stereotypes of a librarian governing in the society at present, revealing not only the views of librarians and library users, but also of the whole society about a profession of a librarian. Official regulating documents on librarianship were made use of in the research. The bachelor paper focuses on the results of the sociological study carried out at the National Library of Latvia inquiring respondents, selected from different layers. The paper describes the general terms, exposes a personality of a librarian in the society, giving the stereotypes of a librarian governing in the society, discloses the results achieved in the research and gives evaluation of it, drawing conclusions about the stereotypes of a librarian surviving in the society.
