Publisko bibliotēku sadarbības tīkla izveide un pārvaldība elektroniskā vidē

Abstract

Maģistra darba temata “Publisko bibliotēku sadarbības tīkla izveide un pārvaldība elektroniskā vidē” aktualitāti noteica nepieciešamība rast risinājumu bibliotēku darba efektivitātes paaugstināšanai un konkurētspējas palielināšanai informācijas sabiedrībā. Darbā apkopotas teorētiskās atziņas par informācijas sabiedrību, īpaši izvērtējot interneta ietekmi uz komunikāciju raksturu, apkopotas teorētiskās atziņas par bibliotēku darbības principiem jaunajos apstākļos un izvērtēti faktori, kas nosaka nepieciešamību veidot bibliotēku sadarbības tīklus. Veikts empīrisks pētījums Kurzemes reģiona bibliotēkās, un, pamatojoties uz teorētisko un empīrisko bāzi un vispārinot pētījuma rezultātus, izstrādāts publisko bibliotēku reģionālā sadarbības tīkla konceptuālais modelis.

The topic of the master thesis is Development and Management of Public Library Cooperation Network in Electronic Environment. The topicality of the issue is determined by the necessity to improve the efficiency of library activities and competitiveness in the information society. The research process included the investigation of theoretical aspects of the information society, paying particular attention to the impact of internet on the character of communications, aggregation of theoretical aspects of library functions in the new conditions and evaluation of factors, which identify the necessity to develop library cooperation networks. The empirical research was performed in Kurzeme region libraries and the conceptual model of the public library cooperation model was developed on the basis of theoretical and empirical investigations.
