Teksta semantiskā bagātināšana

Abstract

Latvijas Nacionālās digitālās bibliotēkas vēsturisko laikrakstu un žurnālu kolekcijas Periodika.lv ietvaros tiek nodrošināta formāla informācijas meklēšanas rezultātu atbilstība informācijas meklēšanas pieprasījumam, taču, pieaugot digitalizēto tekstu masīvam, rodas nepieciešamība to strukturēt un semantiski bagātināt, lai nodrošinātu informācijas meklēšanas rezultātu semantisko un pragmatisko atbilstību informācijas lietotāju vajadzībām. Pētījuma ietvaros tika izstrādāts teksta semantiskās bagātināšanas modelis. Izmantojot teksta semantiskās bagātināšanas modeli un vēsturisko laikrakstu un žurnālu rakstu kontentanalīzi, tika veikts eksperiments informācijas meklēšanas rezultātu uzlabošanai. Nejauši atlasīti respondenti atzina, ka semantiski bagātināti informācijas meklēšanas rezultāti nodrošina efektīvu informācijas izguvi.

Within collection of historical newspapers and magazines of the National Digital Library of Latvia Periodicals.lv is provided a formal relevance of information seeking results to information seeking query. However, array of digitized text is increasing, therefore it is needed to structure and semantically enrich it to provide a semantic and pragmatic relevance of information seeking results to the needs of information users. Within the study a text semantic enrichment model was developed. By using the text semantic enrichment model and content analysis of the articles of historical newspapers and magazines an experiment was carried out to improve information seeking results. Randomly chosen respondents acknowledged that semantically enriched information seeking results ensure powerful information retrieval.
