Šausmu filmu izvēles un uztveres īpatnības dažādās auditorijās un ekspertu vērtējumos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Šausmu filmu izvēles un uztveres īpatnības dažādās auditorijās un ekspertu vērtējumos” mērķis ir atklāt šausmu filmu žanra mērķa auditoriju un noteikt šī žanra filmu skatīšanās motivāciju. Par galveno pētniecības problēmu tika izvirzīts jautājums, kāpēc cilvēki izvēlas skatīties šausmu filmas žanru par spīti iespējamām negatīvām (baiļu) reakcijām, ko tās var izraisīt. Darbā apkopota teorētiskā literatūra par šausmu kino žanriem, to funkcijām un ietekmes faktoriem, kā arī mediju efektiem. Izvēlētās pētniecības metodes ir daļēji strukturētās intervijas ar kino ekspertu Viktoru Freibergu un psiholoģi Juritu Smiltiņu, kā arī fokusa grupas diskusija ar šausmu filmu tipisku mērķauditoriju pārstāvjiem. The objective of bachelor paper "The choice and specificity of perception of horror films in different audiences and experts' evaluations" is to disclose the target audience of horror genre movies and to determine the motivation of horror movie watching. The main research problem-is the question, why people choose watching horror genre movies in spite of possible negative (fear) reactions they can bring. The paper summarizes theoretical literature on cinema genres, their functions and influence, as well as media effects. The chosen research methods are semi-structured interviews with cinema specialist Viktor Freiberg and psychologist Jurita Smiltinya, as well as focus group discussion with the typical representatives of horror movie target audience.
