| dc.description.abstract | Darba temats – „Ziemassvētku kauju atceres reprezentācija laikrakstā ”Latvijas Kareivis” (1925–1938)”.
Pētījuma mērķis: uzzināt, kā laikraksts ”Latvijas Kareivis” reprezentē Ziemassvētku kauju kā Pirmā pasaules kara notikuma piemiņu.
Darba teorētiskajā daļā apskatīts reprezentācijas jēdziens, atmiņas un atcerēšanās procesa, kolektīvās atmiņas, kara atmiņas, komemorācijas termini, kā arī Laikmeta un preses raksturojums, Ziemassvētku kauju un Pirmā pasaules kara atcere Latvijā. Metodoloģijas daļā darba autore definējusi kvantitatīvās kontentanalīzes un diskursa vēsturiskās analīzes metodes, kas tiks izmantotas Ziemassvētku kauju atceres reprezentācijas atklāšanai.
Darba pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka Ziemassvētku kaujas laikrakstā ”Latvijas Kareivis” reprezentēts kā sāpīgs brīdis lielā bojā gājušo skaita dēļ un radījis latviešu strēlnieku varoņu kultu.

| dc.description.abstract | The subject of the work:"Christmas Battles memorial representation in the newspaper "Latvijas Kareivis"(1925-1938)."
The aim of the work: how newspaper "Latvijas Kareivis" represents the Christmas battles of World War I commemoration of the event.
In the theoretical part there are the representation theory, memory and remembering process, collective memory, war memory, commemoration, the era and of the press, Christmas Battles, World War I commemoration in Latvia. Methodology of work is defined a quantitative content analysis and discourse historical analysis methods. There are used to discover the Christmas Battles memorial representation in the newspaper and for the analysis of publications.
The results of the research: Christmas Battles in the "Latvijas Kareivis" are represented as a painful moment for a large number of deaths and caused the Latvian Riflemen hero cult.
